Principal & Founder
David is a board-certified gastroenterologist, public health researcher, and digital health entrepreneur. Over his 20-year career spanning academic, nonprofit, and private practice settings, he has collaborated extensively with the NIH, CDC, and Indian Health Service, publishing widely on colorectal cancer screening barriers in underserved populations.
Dr. Perdue co-founded the American Indian Cancer Foundation, serving as its first Chief Medical Officer. He also served on the Board of Directors and later as Chief Medical Officer at MNGI Digestive Health, one of the nation’s largest GI specialty groups. As Founder of Navatar Health, he combines clinical expertise, behavioral science, and AI to build scalable, culturally tailored tools that close screening gaps and improve outcomes across diverse populations.

Chris is a seasoned technology executive who has risen from software engineer to Head of Engineering at two Fortune 500 companies. He brings over 15 years of experience building and scaling mission-critical software platforms that serve millions of users across diverse industries.
As CTO of Navatar Health, he leads the design of secure, scalable infrastructure to support AI-powered patient engagement at population scale. is a seasoned Fortune 500 AI and machine learning leader with deep expertise in GenAI, NLP, MLOps, LLMOps, and scalable AI systems. He has a Master's of Science in Advanced Computing from the University of Bristol, and completed the AI Leadership program at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
He has a proven track record of designing and deploying enterprise-grade AI platforms that drive real-world impact across complex industries. At Navatar Health, Jasmeet leads the development of our modular AI infrastructure—powering rapid prototyping of personalized patient engagement, education, and support experiences.

Jennifer brings decades of experience at the intersection of healthcare strategy, payer engagement, and cancer screening innovation. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Member Experience at UnitedHealthcare, where she oversaw national initiatives to close preventive care gaps—including leading efforts to improve colorectal cancer screening across diverse populations.
Dr. Bueckner’s leadership has shaped quality improvement programs that impacted millions of lives, and her expertise in payer operations, population health, and human-centered design makes her an invaluable advisor as Navatar Health scales its digital navigation tools for screening, early detection, and beyond.

PhD
Gloria is Associate Director for Population Sciences at the University of Arizona Cancer Center and Director of Health Disparities Research at the Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Previously with Kaiser Permanente Northwest’s Center for Health Research, Dr. Coronado has led over 50 federally funded grants and authored more than 230 peer-reviewed publications.
Her work focuses on systems-based, cost-effective interventions—like mailed FIT programs and patient-centered outreach—to boost colorectal cancer screening and follow-up, especially in underserved, rural, and Medicaid populations. Known for culturally tailored engagement, she also mentors rising investigators and serves on national advisory committees.

MD
David is a nationally recognized public health physician who has led major cancer prevention and tribal health initiatives at the CDC. He served as Acting Director of the CDC’s Division of Cancer Prevention and Control and later directed the Healthy Tribes and Good Health and Wellness in Indian Country programs, advancing chronic disease prevention across Native communities.
From 2000 to 2014, he worked closely with the Indian Health Service and tribal health systems to expand cancer surveillance and improve mortality data for American Indian and Alaska Native populations. Earlier in his career, Dr. Espey served in the Epidemic Intelligence Service at CDC, supported chronic disease programs in New Mexico, and practiced medicine with Doctors Without Borders and the Indian Health Service in Gallup, NM.

Theodore Is a gastroenterologist, Associate Director of the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research, and the Clinical Lead for Colorectal Cancer Screening for The Permanente Medical Group.
Dr. Levin hasauthored more than 160 peer-reviewed studies on colorectal cancer and his work has shaped national screening policy and best practices. He is an expert in population health, implementation science, and pragmatic evaluation of screening interventions at scale

Paul is a seasoned healthcare executive who most recently served as Chief Consumer Experience Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where he oversaw consumer experience strategy, market research, and service center operations.
With prior leadership roles as Senior Vice President of Product and Consumer Experience at Premera Blue Cross and an extensive tenure at UnitedHealth Group, he has driven enterprise-wide enhancements to the customer health journey. Paul brings deep expertise in designing empathetic, friction-reducing patient experiences that drive satisfaction, engagement, and health outcomes.

Kevin is a physician-executive who most recently served as Vice President and Associate Medical Director for Health Initiatives at Health Partners.
He brings a unique perspective from his time as Medical Director at Target, and leadership in clinical operations at the regional health insurance company Medica. Dr. Ronneberg bridges clinical insight with strategic design, leveraging analytics and engagement tactics to enhance access, affordability, and health outcomes. His expertise aligns consumer, employer, and care delivery needs to drive measurable impact in value-based healthcare.

Charles is a nationally recognized behavioral scientist with over two decades of experience in advancing health equity. He is the Founding Director of the Men’s Health Inequities Research Lab and leads community-engaged, mixed-methods research focused on eliminating disparities in colorectal cancer screening—particularly among African-American men—and addressing the growing burden of early-onset colorectal cancer. Renowned for translating complex scientific findings into actionable, culturally grounded solutions,
Dr. Rogers is widely respected for his ability to bridge research, advocacy, and practice. His contributions have earned him numerous national honors, including an Endowed Chair, the 40 Under 40 Leader in Minority Health distinction, and the Cancer Community Catalyst for Change Award. He is currently Founder & Chief Advisor, Rogers Solutions Group

Aasma is a Professor of Gastroenterology and Medicine, and the director of GI outcomes research, NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Shaukat has authored 190+ peer-reviewed papers, including multicenter studies of stool and blood-based DNA assays for colorectal cancer detection, and the use of AI in colorectal polyp detection.
An expert in screening, Dr Shaukat has participated on guideline panels for several professional societies and has championed colonoscopy quality indicators adopted by ASGE and ACG.
